Spoonful opened with the goal of introducing Korean café culture to St. Louis, MO. Before launching Spoonful, founder Monica Lee worked in the corporate world in Asia and regularly traveled throughout Asia and Europe. In every city she visited, she would find a Korean-style café to enjoy bingsu, a Korean shaved milk-ice treat. The pandemic brought Monica back to St. Louis, but she was dismayed to find that her hometown had not yet discovered her favorite sweet treat.

Now, Spoonful serves fresh bingsu, taiyaki, bubble tea and premium coffee drinks to the Creve Coeur/West County and Edwardsville area. With an ever-expanding menu, Spoonful's team is excited to continue to serve our patrons, including students and families, with new items and drinks. Stay tuned for more updates!
